About us...

Mama to 2 beautiful girls...Ruby and Matilda, (9 & 3 yrs old).  A far from perfect homeschool mama, wanna be homesteader, craftaholic and lover of life!   Living solo with my 2 girls out in the Ottawa Valley in Ontario, Canada.  Here are a few posts to help you get to know me better, and to see that behind this blog there is a real, honest to goodness person with problems, phobias, fears, struggles and strains just like you! 

Homeschool Mama to two bright lights ~  Luna who is nine and Solana who is seven.

 Tidbits of me....  I come from a big family I am so grateful for (16!), married to my childhood sweetheart (literally ~ we have been buds since I was eight). I love being a mom and with my mom. I still like to climb trees, hula hoop and create fairy homes. I find joy in getting my hands in the earth, sharing a bottle of wine with a friend, taking notice of the bits of beauty all around,  laughing 'til my belly aches, being barefoot, dancing my butt off and soaking up the beauty that life has to offer.

I am also continually having to tell myself I am enough... learning to let go, learning to rise above, learning to prioritize what I need, learning to be in the moment, learning to allow myself to be me.
